I can attest to this, ran plenty of deep river crossings with this setup.

 

Figure it's cheap insurance. I avoid deep water anyways because I've gotten some in the cab before, and that was a pain to clean up.

 

That was one fun ride. Didn't feel nearly as violent as they said it looked. I love bombing up hills like that. So surprising how loose everything is even 100+ lb rocks and boulders that just get moved causing traction loss.

 

You said something about this once and it's been on the to do list just never got around to it. In hindsight it should of been at the top of the list

 

Lets talk shackle flippage... is it worth it?

We need to find a good way to do a picture dump. I have a lot and I know everyone else does also. Any ideas from the tech savvy??

Not IMO. In order to take advantage of it you need a rear shock relocate, and that's just more $$$. Plus it prematurely wears out your springs from all the increased flex unless you limit your uptravel a bit. The B110 with dakars is plenty of flex for me. It's the best bang for your buck, again, IMO.

Now I would do the BAMF HD shackle hangers or the archive garage hammer hangers for sure. Just need money.
