Even with zero deductible glass in MA my insurance would always raise rates for “market adjustment” when I made a glass claim. Now, we just drive it til it cracks enough to fail inspection.

That's what I do. I just had one replaced a few months ago and I'm sure I'll get a chip soon. I can't ever go more than 4 or 5 months without a rock chip.

Closures, apparently. The Papa Gino's one was handled really poorly; apparently they didn't even let the employees know in advance. We've got (correction- we HAD) one in the Auburn mall, and they were open for business as usual on Saturday and then on Sunday the employees showed up to a locked up store.

How did you get so many chips? I haven't gotten any in the FJ in the past 100k miles, and that damn thing is a rock catcher. I almost hope it does get one cause it's still the original glass, so it's pretty beat and sandblasted.

Meh, no big loss with Papa Gino's. I was never really a fan of their pizza. It was OK for a chain pizza shop, but I'd take Regina, Papa Johns or even Pizza Slut over Gino's any day.

The Lowes thing seems to just be smart business. Stop the bleeding from stores that aren't doing well.

I actually got insurance to replace the glass in my Tacoma because it was old and looked like it had been shot blasted. It was pretty bad, driving into the sun, it was like having dew on your window, I couldn't see shit driving east into the city in the morning. I had a little chip that they ultimately used as the excuse to replace it, but they were surprisingly helpful.

Same with mine. Had a chip, called them and they asked if I wanted it fixed or the windshield replaced. I said the whole thing was pitted so I'd like to have it replaced. No argument from them at all, it was done the next day.

I actually generally avoid chain pizza as a whole anyway. Never actually ate at Papa Gino's and it's been probably a decade since I had Pizza Hut or Papa John's. I buy mine at the local gas station and it's way better.

Same here, I like the local one-off pizza shops. In a bind though, I'll go for the chain pizza.

This is my favorite pizza that's local to me: https://ramuntos.com/

Overall, can't beat Antonio's in Amherst, but that's a long drive so haven't gotten it in years.

Papa Gino's had pretty good subs, never really got their pizza cause it wasn't great.

Hmm maybe I'll need to go that route. Driving into the sun, or even glare at night is pretty bad.

Oh man, their potato and bacon pizza is killer. Actually, all their pizza is awesome. Although I have to admit that it would be a tough choice if I found myself in the area between them and Bueno Y Sano for a burrito. That place was my favorite when I lived out that way.
