When I order a set of tires and send them to my house, will Discount Tire shops charge the $20 for install and $3 disposal fee?

The price is way better on DicountTireDirect than setting up DiscountTire to order them, but I don't want to get nailed with hidden costs when I take them in for the mount/balance!

    Thanks!

I got my tires on their ebay page. What they offered me was that they can get the tires the next day and price match them. I dont remember if they charged me the $20 install fee.

No hidden costs except TPMS rebuilds, but you can decline them. They charge like $6 per TPMS.

Not if they Dropship them to you, They'll just dump them in your yard. Ask me how I know?

That’s the shipping company, not the vendor.

Well if they use the same shipping company you get tires in your Backyard.

Thanks for the info! All are working, so unless a junior explorer effs them up or its common to break them on the swap, I don't think I'll need them. Can't wait for those Falken At3w's to arrive!

The stock Wrangler AT w/Kevlar wore down to 4/32 by 45k and found a bulge on one the other day, disappointing tire in the MN winters so Im glad to get them swapped.

    Appreciate the info!

Thank you for your question. If you buy tires online and take them to a Discount Tire store for installation they charge $$20.00 plus tax and fees for life of the tire balance with free rotations.

Please let us know if we can be of assistance.

Awesome, thanks for being on TacomaWorld! I called my local shop this morning and they let me know installation would be $20 per tire + $3 per tire disposal fee for a total of $92 +tax

By install, do they mean to put them on the vehicle?

Typically, installation means to mount and balance the tires on wheels. If you are having the store bolt on a tire/wheel package they would generally have a labor fee.
