I had icons up here almost two years, looked great when I pulled them, didn't see any rust. I did NOT do anything to keep them clean..ever.

So did lowes and papa's close? Or just a bunch of stores? Haven't seen any news today yet.

I am a papa gino's guy. We always ate it for birthdays as kids because it was on the way home from work for my dad. Nostalgia can make anything good

Ramuntos is spreading quick, we have two within 15 minutes of me. NA and Williamstown

I've had one for 3-4 years and used it at least a couple dozen times. I love my kinetic rope.

This is true, I hate having to roll it all up and make sure it stays after its all muddy wet and cold. But when I don't I regret it more when I go to use it and it's under a bunch of crap or tangled up. I'd be interested when I replace the rope in looking at a similar strap.

Sr5 has the best wheels made for the Taco IMO. I really like them:anonymous:

Just select stores. Papa Gino's closed (I think) 4 stores, and Lowes closed 20 in the US & 31 in Canada because of low numbers

Icons are aluminum, aren't they? I should certainly hope they aren't rusting! :goingcrazy:

Sr5 tundra? Last I checked it was $340 a month. When I was looking the buy out was either 0.9% or like $3,500 in incentives, either way I was looked at way more than I wanted to spend. I considered the lease because it was around what I was looking to spend a month, but the TSS shit annoys the hell out of me. My moms 2017 Rav4 limited has it

Well I guess the overall point was they held up pretty good. I had no leaks or anything either if that helps.

Toyota Safety Sense. My 18 has some of it. Nothing too invasive though, and things can easily be turned off or sensitivity turned down. None of it really bothers me, but none of it was really a selling point for me when buying the truck.

Think mine has that. Supposedly will apply the brakes for me if I'm not paying attention so I don't rear end someone.

I like the idea of those systems, but I was reading this weekend about how having more active safety systems actually makes people worse drivers because they're used to the car doing the work, so they pay less attention. Kind of like everybody used to be able to maintain speed on the interstate, but we've all been using cruise control for so long that if we turn it off we can't maintain speed worth a damn.

My pre-collision system kicked on once in the year I've had it, but it I thought it was a little over reactive(I had just pressed the brakes and starting slowing down when it came on) and it just beeped. Not sure if mine will actively apply the brakes or not.

I cannot stand the lane departure or parking assist. Haven't tried the adaptive cruise but I'd probably get annoyes by that as well. I prefer old school. My 2011 Tundra has too many electronic baby sitters in it for me as is

I'm not a fan of relying on the safety systems either. I rarely use cruise control, and I prefer to use my mirrors over the backup cam

The rav4 has lane departure assist right? My truck only has warning, so it'll beep if I have it turned on but it won't adjust the steering. I'm fine with the beeping, but I don't think I'd be OK with the adjusting the steering.

We'll be looking in the next month or two at the 2019 Rav4 for my wife when they are released. Since she'd be the primary driver of it, if she is fine with the safety stuff on it, then so be it; I'll deal with it whenever I drive it.

The adaptive cruise is actually really nice if you're traveling in heavy traffic, because you don't have to constantly be making adjustments to your speed either with the throttle or with the cruise settings.

Meh. I like using the cruise, but I bounce between the mirrors and the backup camera. I can't stand the lane departure stuff, though. I do wish that more people had the automatic high beam feature, though. It doesn't let somebody beam you when they think that your low beams are high beams because of how high off the road they are
