thinking of chopping up my exhaust

Hey Guys,

just wondering of anyone has cut and dumped their exhaust. what i mean by this is take grinder to the exhaust pipe and cut it so it cant get crushed while off roading. i was thinking of cutting it after the rear axle (when it starts to curve back down. i want to do this both for off roading clearance and looks (i like no tail pipe look).

 

2nd gen, but I did it

 

What'd you use for the cut. Looks nice and clean. About to do this this weekend.

 

Angle grinder and a cut off wheel; like a boy. Sorry for the old, crappy pic haha that was probably from 4 years ago; easily.

 

I too am an artist of potato pictures.

 

Can get you another one if you want. Threw some high temp BBQ spray paint on it after the cut. no issue since then.

 

Nah, its all good. I've seen many a person do it, just curious on the how since it was posted right in front of me.

 

I cut mine off with an angle grinder the first time.

The second MBRP exhaust I put on I cut with a Miter metal blade.
