TRD Pro Lift Question

Hey Guys,

Was wondering about rake and suspension setup of the Off-Road vs TRD Pro. I hear the Pro is lifted about 1" higher than the Off-Road. Do both trucks have the same rear lift and leafs? If so, wouldn't that mean the Pro has less rake than the Off-Road... making it more level?

 

The rear leaf packs are exactly the same, only the shocks are different. The front is about 1” higher than the ORs and Sports so the Pro appears more level from the factory.

 

Thanks. I'm wondering because I ordered and received all of my suspension lift parts so far (6112/5160/ECGS Bushing/3L AAL) but might start slow and just do the suspension install for now since winter is coming. I'm guessing the 3/4 notch on the bilsteins will do the trick.

 

I did the 4th setting and a one inch block in the rear, 1/4 shim for the lean and ECGS bushing. I think I got like 2 1/2 up front, got a very slight rake. I came out of the store and a pro was parked next to me. Yeah there was a difference in the stance. I would set it on the 4th setting, factory coils and she will ride just fine, in fact mine rides better than stock.

 

wait how is it 2.5" up front on just the 4th notch? Something isn't right. Third gen 6112s on a third gen taco?

 

Idk, just what the shop said. I did the5100s and 1/4 shim, tires and wheels. You tell me. Driveway isn't that level, but I do have a slight rake.

 

Looks good. Maybe a 6112 expert could chime in but I believe even at the highest notch settings (5/6) people are only getting 2" of lift up front. 4/5 should get 1.5" of front lift.

 

Might be total including tires, I see it everyday so I would say an 1.5 on the front would be on the conservative side. Looks more than an inch and half to me.
