Why not just slide it all onto the bolt then screw that one bolt in. Then do one on the opposite side? Would be really simple

I think this is user error. I have never had an issue with a lawn mower.

 

Dealers should consider hiring people with a knowledge of parts in the parts department. I called to order a pcv valve for my sisters car. It took forever and I could hear the dude typing up an essay on his computer trying to locate a number. After 3 or 4 minutes, he comes back with a quote: $173 and some change. I asked if he was looking at a pcv valve, he gets some assistance and gets back the right quote of $7, he was looking at the wrong thing. Also, thats a lot cheaper than what advance had by like $20.

 

How do you fuck up a small engine, they're cake to keep running. Don't ever put fuel with ethanol in it and drain the gas before winter. Done, you'll never have to dick with it again unless you go decide to mow rocks.

 

Let it sit with ethanol gas in it during the off season and report back.
