sending 10 different emails makes support a nightmare.

Send 1 email and he'll get back to you. bombard him and you are making it worse for everyone, yourself included.

Really Mat? You're gonna do me like that? As I've mentioned before my original date of purchase was August 4, I then upgraded to the handheld + handheld kit on Oct 10. Do I really need to post all of the emails I've had with you since August? My complaint was not about 1.05 or my handheld being delayed. I still haven't been able to tune because you either sent my cable to the wrong address (tracking # shows Quebec) which is an address on the other side of the country or you gave me the wrong tracking number. I've been trying to find out where my package is with you through the emails for the past week and after asking 5 times I still haven't gotten an answer from you, the only answer has been "it's been shipped" which does not help me in this case. So to call my a liar because you don't remember my original order even though we spoke of this over email since then in my opinion is pretty damn unprofessional.

 

The video I am uploading is in 3rd gear @45mph and 2700rpm,it really isn't much louder at 75 in 5th...YMMV

 

I am sooo envious. Been holding my dongle for a week straight waiting for 04B04 1.05 AT. Dusted it off, put it in, still works, ready for 1.05

 

This thread is really starting to scare me now that Mat is getting pissed due to the few that have abused this thread.
If you are having a problem with OVTune, take it off here (This thread...seriously) and keep it personal between you and him.

 

@acemastr is an auto so its gonna be different than the MT. I've definitely been part of the 3rd and 4 gear screams in the auto and its not fun. add the shift dance and thats why I traded for the MT. I do almost 100% highway driving and the early trucks (late 2015) really did not like speeds over 65 mph.

The auto I had would usually need to be in 4th (sometimes 5th but usually not for long) to maintain 75mph (this was pre TSB 1 that came out a long time ago).

 

People really need to use the proper support channels and it'll get resolved much faster.

Nah we as consumers have a duty and we must make the new potential buyers aware that this is what they'll be dealing with if they decide to buy the product. Plus I'm unable to post anything in the for sale thread until I have a 40 message count, so I gotta get to 40 somehow! /s

But in all seriousness I wouldn't be on here if he was actually able to help me through the proper channels. After a week of 20+ emails he still doesn't know where my package went, tracking # shows it went to the other side of the country so either he messed up or.... ya he messed up.

At least my posts are on subject to the title of this thread, there's guys that are posting in here about the weather etc, no wonder this thread is closing in on 1500 pages.

Just saying but once the package leaves his possession it is no longer his problem, I’ve gotten into disputes with (major) companies in the past about it. It’s the postal service who is responsible when it’s in their possession. Probably has to go through customs and things too since you’re out of country. It’s a very long process

that's setup for support, and those guys above saying to wait for a reply is how those support tickets work.

I understand your frustration, but I also hope you understand that definitely isn't the norm. International adds a further layer of delay and complexity.

When something happens in shipping, its no fun for either party. I'm sure it'll get resolved but it won't be instant. Even Amazon has issues with items lost or damaged in transit. I've lost count of how many items I've had to send back for damage.

 

No that's not the issue if you read my previous posts, the package has already shipped but the tracking # he provided me shows it went to the other side of the country. So either A. he shipped to the wrong house or B. he gave me the incorrect tracking #, so this has nothing to do with the postal service making a mistake.

Yes I've been trying to resolve this with him through the email you provided, it's the same one I assure you. He just gives me answers like "it's been shipped", when I ask for tracking # he still isn't able to provide me with the correct one. Then the guy thinks I'm lying by saying I never ordered on August 4th lol so I went and posted a receipt of my order to refresh his memory.

 

Sorry man, nobody credible is going to back you on here. keep your postal troubles to yourself. You are just making it a mess for others.
