I have a 2018 Tacoma TRD PRO in ice white, I know it has the Toyota clear paint protection but it’s a lot harder to see any scratches or swirl marks than other car manufacturers. Is the clear coat more durable or something?

No, it’s super white. Does not show imperfections like darker colors.

Yep there is no "ice white" it is Super white. Super white is a single stage paint I have no idea what this paint protection coating is maybe they had it ceramic coated. The white hides scratches very well even dirt.

The paint is no different than others.
White does not show scratches and swirl marks as bad as say black, which sticks out like a sore thumb. Black is the prettiest when new and in a dust free environment, but sucks as time passes and miles start adding up.

    BTW, welcome to TW

Lighter colors are always better at hiding dirt, I owned 3 black vehicles and the rest were light blue and white, will never own a black car again even though they do they pertty when they are clean..

I have a black taco and I absolutely love it when its washed and waxed looks amazing, but it terrible at hiding the scratches and dirt. My wife kept telling me to get white but I am OCD so its kinda fun for me to keep it buffed out.

Keep in mind many have said on here that the super white is not the same as any other color. I believe it's a 2 step paint instead of a 3 step paint of every other color.
