Out of curiosity, how many 1.05 testers?
Where is the breakdown of truck style to climate/elevation

Thank you all that replied about the emissions question. I care less about being in compliance with federal emissions standards than I do about passing my county's emissions test. Sounds like a non-issue, but anyone in a Texas OBDII emissions testing county with OVTune - have you had issues with inspection?

No one knows other than Matt. Some of the MT guys have 1.05 and there’s a couple auto guys testing to get the trans dialed in.

My truck is fairly stock. TRD pro wheels and 265/70/16 falken at3w sl load range. I’m in the Midwest and temps have been 30-60 degrees and rainy.

I guess a better question would have been stock vs modified. Be cool to hear feedback from someone all low elevation and big tires and afe intake. ......

Noob here. I joined to learn about 1.05. The thought of effing with my new truck's computer is pretty scary. I'm glad Mat prioritizes quality control and testing over release dates. And for whoever suggested the "Ignore" button, THANK YOU.

There’s a good mix from what I remember. Some stock guys, some heavily modified and there is some high elevation testers too.

I’ve flashed a bunch of times. The first time is scary, after that it’s just another day and no worries. If you have issues, Matt and others are always here to help

Anyone with MT or At at high elevation. I’m at 7000 ft with 285s and lift, and waiting for my kit.
If so what are your results and findings.

If you ever need a hand with it, let us know. It’s quite simple.

Also, as long as you have a tatrix cable and software, your ECU is safe.

And if things get extra bad, you can always send it in!

    Welcome to TW

I'm so happy, that after all this smack talk, you will not be running ovtune.

Thanks guys. I'm in no hurry to go first, and glad to know there's support out there if I screw it up.

I'm willing to bet this guy has been sent here to see if he can get Mat to quit....

Got to admit OV Tune is making Toyota look pretty bad right about now.

Why else would someone go on and on needling a guy like this ?

Next big question is has @KTJO 4x4 and @dirtydeeds worked with @OVTune to test 1.05 with the y-pipe w/exhaust they are teasing. My ideal situation is group buy on that exhaust and the tune to go with it

Pretty sure Toyota doesn’t have it out for Mat. He’s not blowing up motors or anything! In fact I wouldn’t even own my Toyota if i couldn’t have gotten help a year ago.
