    Another thought. How well did you clean out your housing last time you broke gears? Really gotta clean the shit out of them. Broken metal bits get everywhere

    Buy a gear set to fix your broken shit so you can sell it. I'll help you put it together.

    Thanks Pat, I’m pretty sure ECGS is going to do it under warranty. If not, I certainly will do that.

    @Rockbaron1

    I stole this pic from @jberry813 ’s thread on installing the Currie 9”. It does hang down there, doesn’t it?

    Damn.

    I spayed the hell out of it with brake cleaner until I couldn’t get anymore debris out. It’s possible that I missed some. I worked at getting everything though.

    See if they can turn it into a full float setup while they're at it and get rid of the press on bearing bs.

    Currie does have a Tacoma specific Rock Jock 60.

    Bolt in isn’t as important as retaining the wheel speed sensors. The flanges from Currie are $400 plus to do this if you want to put together your own axle. Might as well just buy their housing.

    I just assumed if you were going 9" it was gonna be full float, why would you not?

    The stock wheel speed sensors on my fj80 axle plugged right into my harness ;)
    its also a full floater (they came both ways as well though)

    Alright... you guys have me second guessing my axle choice now. I have at least a month before the Marlin ships. I think I'll take a step back and figure this out.

    Cool. What did you do? Get a used axle and weld it up?
