The smell isn't dust from the first go this season because I've run it with the broken one until it was too hot to be in there.... The smoke is still inside because It works when I reconnect the old one.... Of course I don't switch the breaker I just undo the wire nut and leave it hanging til it gets too cold in there again.....forget paying for safety when y'all don't care if I burn it down and file an insurance claim.......

Well then you should be ok.
    Shut off the breaker
Connect the black wires to the black wires, cap off the red wires separately.
Have the wife turn the breaker back on while you stand by the t-stat, so you can frantically yell at her to shut it back off if the smoke starts to escape.
If no smoke and the rest of the lights stay on, you'll be fine.

My first AR build is finally complete. Went and played at the range yesterday. Glad I didn’t stay home and waste my time watching the Broncos. I never purchase any less. Unfortunately 5.56 isn’t much cheaper than .308. I guess I should shoot my 9mm more.

I’m buying M855 at .29/rd. My .308 likes steel cased so I guess that’s not quite a fair comparison.
I should get into reloading but that would just be another hobby I don’t have time for.

Ah yeah steel case is ok though, especially if you don't reload. Did you see the analysis that using steel case and having to eventually replace the barrel was still cheaper than shooting brass case?

    I need a range day
