Most people in AZ waste thousands modifying them, yap about it incessantly, squirt a couple hundred rounds at the range through it once and then sell it for a loss. They might have one or two they actually keep and use regularly but the modded one's never last as evidence by every gun shop glass case.

Yeah they do. With the tools and a vise it only takes a few minutes really, but the re zero would kill me

Long ranger shooting is an expensive hobby, people buy scopes that cost as much as a LT Kit

Starting in 2019 all ammo sales in CA will require a background check, and what you buy goes into a database. I'm assuming buying out of state ammo will be massively illegal

 

I'm like 1300ish probably on the one I posted, then I have a ghetto PSA pile of shit I threw together for like $450

 

That's some cool stuff, all that precision shooting is neato in my book. I haven't met too many people here that do that kind of stuff though. I think it would be fun to learn to shoot with that insane long range accuracy.

I think it’s pretty cool too, people hitting milk jugs from a mile away is pretty impressive.

The range i goto has some old timers with fully built .22 competition rifles.

 

Yeah bringing out of state ammo into CA will be a no-no. Can't imagine purchasing ammo out of state, that never enters CA, will a problem.

 

i keep eye balling that.

 

I assume they're just trying to keep people from starting a home armory, I doubt a small time hobbyist like yourself would really be affected.
