I need to order a couple rubber grommets for running antenna wire into the cabin and I don't know the thickness of the steel. Any ideas?

Where? I think the firewall sheet metal may be thicker than the rest of the body, or double walled. For what it's worth, I used an existing grommet...the large one on the drivers side top of the firewall, to run antenna wire and hot wire to my VHF radio. I just poked a couple more holes in the rubber.

    Not very thick

Come to think of it, if you believe we put a man on the moon, the “lunar module” was thicker with 3/4” aluminum and allegedly went through the 25,000 mile wide Van Allen radiation belt, twice.

At least Toyota doesn’t use tin foil

If you really believe that the lunar module had 3/4" aluminum skin on it, your a total moron.

I'm running the antenna wires through the underside of the cab. I'm putting two radios (2m/70cm and CB) in the box behind the driver's side back seat. There's a place pretty high where the wires shouldn't get caught that will punch through beside that box. I thought about using a bulkhead connector but a grommet will seal better and male more sense. I plan to use and existing fire wall grommet for the power from the engine bay.

There is already a power wiring coming into the cab big enough to run 5 radios, why would you run another one?
