You said it was an hour project lol

It was kind of a last minute decision. I loved the Tacoma, but with kids, I needed something with more passenger space. Plus the Tacoma was getting to the point where removing bolts without snapping them was a gamble.

All snorkels look hideous on our cars... I hated it so much I waited until I direly needed it to buy one. I still haven't installed it. I'm trying to figure out a way to see if I can make it quick disconnect.........

The TSS is kind of a mixed bag.

I drive a service van most of the time.

I find the blind spot monitor, lane departure, and definitely the adaptive cruise, useful.
Not a replacement, but, another tool in the arsenal. I can turn all off, or any combo as I need, and only tend to use any of it, on longer highway runs, where focus can become lax/drift.

That said, it came with the truck, the full tech package.... I can live without, but, Ive also come appreciate them.....

I guess the ‘quick disconnect’ would depend on how fast you can swap out an intake and fender...

Did you see the one that routes the intake to the cowl? It puts the intake quite a bit higher without cutting a massive hole in the fender. There was another one that put the intake in the cab but that just seemed like a terrible idea...

I do that ALL the time.

The greatest hardship that comes with Amherst - where to eat food. I call it a semi compromise to get the chicken quesadilla pizza from Antonios but sometimes you just need a good Bueno burrito.

I haven't had a chance to look at it or think about it very much I have so many other things to do to the truck first - this winter is going to be mild runs, hopefully with no crazy deep water crossings (ahem @ecgreen)
    To Do:
    - Install new leaf packs with new all pro ubolts
    - ARB Bedside Install (Everything is wired I just need to install it but I'm skeptical about it being exposed to the salt/etc....)
    - Front/Rear speaker replacements
    - Headunit's Steering wheel controller hookup
    - Get the daily tires remounted to the freshly coated winter rims

Leaf packs ordered from @Blackout14 can't wait - I can't wait to get the truck back to a normal non-ass dragging stance again.

All-Pro's website sucks - It won't let me select a shipping method - therefore I cannot place an order.

Well here's the thing...I was born in 1975 and in the 1980's we would drive to Papa Gino's in Marlboro on Rt. 20. They had the old school giant pizza oven with shelves that would rotate like Ferris wheel seats..the pizzas would move slowly around cooking as they went up and down...You could see them roll out the dough and place the topping right in front of you...No mini scale...No counting pepperonis..weighing hamburger....The BEST pizza they made was a pepperoni hamburger...I dream about that pizza. Once they forced the franchises to adhere to strict food supply rules and cooking/portion policies the pizza was never the same. They ripped out that old oven and put in a crappy one. I cannot find that oven on ANY restaurant oven site...It was crazy how great the pizza was from that store. There was this small amount of water/grease moisture from the meatball that gave the pizza just the right softness...Soooo good. And it's permanently closed now..
It went to crap when corporate came in and changed it all..and now it's closed..
Now papa ginos is a grease slab. We took 1 piece of pepperoni pizza at work and got 14 grams of grease/fat off of it with paper towels...Yes we weighed it with analytical balances after taring the paper towel weights :)

I am 100% local pizza shop. There are at least 4 in my town that make a GREAT pizza...and any of them will do. I don't even have a favorite. One has great specialty pies with a nice soft/chewy crust...Another has that great greek semi-deep dish style with so much cheese on it the crust glistens with those browned pieces of wayward cheese....

    Man do I LOVE pizza.

So I have been seeing a lot of talk lately about metal snorkels... I'm on the fence about it but at the same time you can cap a metal pipe.. it would be no different than a cold air style intake...

Clamps on the inside for the snorkel. Then with the piece you keep from cutting the body out, soften the edges , put a silcone like material around the edges for protection , and drill a couple of tabbed Allen screws into it. 1/4 turn a few Allen's and wedge it in there flush. Just might need to make a couple of hand fabbed backing bars to help it keep shape. That could be done with jb weld or what not. Not structural

Sorry that wasn't clear at all. Just woke up for work. I'd cut the hole to near size, and then keep the piece to put back in it's place when you disconnect it

I’d love to know these great pizza places, I can’t find anything stellar within a few town radius. Everything around is Greek and by time I get Anzio’s home it’s ice cold.
