I hear a fast tick...tick...tick...sound on hard acceleration from a complete stop...it only last a few seconds then goes away...it's not comming from the engine...it sounds like a suspension problem..any ideas  I also hear a clank sound sometimes on cornering...

Not too loud of a tick...tick...tick...as I take off the tick matches my speed for a few seconds then it disappears...doesn't really sound like bb's in a coffee can...why were u thinkin my wheel bearings might be shot?

Possibly bad Balljoints. Check them out, they do make noise when they go bad.

interesting. ..i just noticed the same thing this morning in the parking deck.

i played around a bit and found that the only time it happens is if i use the emergency brake. ...when i don't engage it, i don't hear the ticking when i take off.

i also have a brake squeeling ..can't tell if it's the drivers front or rear ..i suspect the rear.

    This is kinda simple but....

...are there any rocks stuck in your tires that stick out above the tread?

Nope...but I wish it was that :D I think it's more along the lines of a worn suspension components or something...the ticking speeds up with acceleration...it's not constant though...goes away after a few seconds of driving...also does this on cornering as well..

I had a strange tick tick noise also. Maybe diff. My problem was the U-Joint. I would check to see how much play you have in them.

Checked my U Joints...No play whatsoever...could be a bad CV Joint...but I think that makes more of a clunk sound when it goes bad doesn't it
It could also be worn out Ball Joints...or bushings...
