sure, everyone wants their team to be as good as Alabama, but nobody wants their fan base to be as arrogant and abhorrent. that's the point that you all keep missing.

 

Ok. I understand. It's ok for other fans to be proud of their teams ..but Not Alabama. Got it.

 

proud is different than arrogant. humility exists and is possible. I hate Florida as much as I hate Alabama, same with Ohio State, Notre Dame, and USC, but those fans aren't in here or on my facebook (since I live in Alabama).

Are these the fans that the Alabama Alumni divide themselves away from? I've heard them on sports radio talk about the Bama "sidewalk" fans, the alumnus say they'll cross the street to stay away from the phinebalm crowd. When you're at the top, this is part of the band-wagon package

 

So much truth here!

 

I understand students/alumni/faculty interest but when did it start that somebody unaffiliated with a university become a fan of a university team?
A issue I have is students getting turned away for tickets, these sports were created for their entertainment. Clemson is one of the few universities left that give students tickets to games free, and there's people who are trying to change that.

 

now that's some good ol entertainment right there.
