I use an old box with the plastic wrap on it, the ones plastic water bottles come in to store my grease gun, funnels, etc. The plastic wrapping keeps any fluid from leaking out of the box.

Does anyone here know that you unscrew the front end of the grease gun coupler to make it easier to disengage? The lock and lube just makes this operation a little simpler but is no different than what standard couplers are designed to do. That is why they are knurled on the outside.

yup, but, trying to get your fingers up in the space that is the front D-shaft is hatefull for me, Trying to tighten the collar so the grease actually goes in the joint rather then just make a mess around the fitting, then while its all nice and greasy, trying to "unscrew it"

nuts to that. after 2 years of the old way, I appriciate my Lock'n lube

Bought a “Lincoln” years ago. Didn’t last very long and company wouldn’t stand behind their product. Vowed never to buy anything branded “Lincoln” again.
