    This thread is about my 3rd gen Toyota Tacoma 3.5 v6 had an unexpected failure at 8400 miles, why do you think this??

    Um, because the part broke and there is no such thing as perfection? :facepalm:Seriously, it has nothing to do with your truck being defective or what day it was built. It has everything to do with that one part failing. This is why they offer a warranty.

    Interesting...a globally mass produced supplier part failed...color me shocked :facepalm:

    The part was defective, not the truck...warranty replacement and drive on.
