    I was replying to someone who had an order number much higher than mine and simply stated my order number and that I have had no communication from the manufacturer. I don't see where I blasted ANYONE or the manufacturer. I agree that if the manufacturer would have stated which order numbers fall into the batch they are handling it would be VERY helpful. I can relate to the ordering from a catalog and waiting. I grew up in a small town in Alaska and we would wait for the freight boats to come in and hope our packages made the trip!!

    Hey everyone,

    The sample slider just came in and it looks good!

    The manufacture and the team reviewed it and gave the powder coating facility the okay to powder coat the entire batch.

    The sliders will start rolling in at the end of the week!

    These look like a pretty low angle and someone mentioned they don’t work great as a step. Do any more of you guys have reviews or pictures of how these function as steps?

    When I got my AP sliders for my FJ I used up my excuse with my wife that “I didn’t realize they were tucked in so close.” So these would actually need to function as a step (for adults and kids)or I’m going to be in trouble buying them.

    Maybe someone can measure and tuck the tape in a few inches so it gives an illusion of sticking out further so you can show your wife they can indeed be used as a step. You get sliders, she gets a “step” win win!

    These rock sliders do not stick out far enough to be used as a side step. Maybe we will develop some side steps... (hint hint)
