They work, and pretty well. Just you truly get what you pay for. For a blaster, they work well. I have 3 compete uppers from them, only 1 with the factory barrel now :)

I’ve never had an issue with DI guns suppressed or not, I’ll keep running them so the only “special” parts I have are 6.8 mags and a 6.8 bolt.
Although I have been tempted to put an adjustable gas block on my 12.5” so I don’t have to run an H3 buffer when it’s suppressed.

    Blasters indeed.
I have a 7.5" upper from them that I use to make elbow room at the range.
Nobody likes a flamethrower in the booth next to them.

Does it look like this? (Less the cheap optic of course)
I loved mine until I got my 12.5”, my suppressor isn’t rated for the 7.5” so I rarely shoot it anymore.

Di is best for suppressed. Pistons have the issue of piston pop.

For noise, yes. The reason some people push for piston is its cleaner (much cleaner when suppressed) but in my opinion piston isn’t useful for me.

I'd like to have a SCAR or a Sig, but making a piston AR from a mishmash of aftermarket stuff just seems Rube Goldberg to me. Why make something simple more complex than it needs to be? Pistons arent cleaner, the dirt just gets deposited somewhere else...

Wow! Efile used to be fast, but not that fast. I just got this back after 234 days during the paper only/efile shutdown.

As Ed McMahon would say. "You are correct.. Sir".
It is actually a UMP clone. Everything except the upper receiver is off a de-miled H&K UMP. It has great ergonomics (This stock to pistol grip length feels more natural than an AR). & even though the entire thing is plastic except for the bolt & barrel...it balances nicely. The only drawback is the trigger is extremely clumsy and clunky, pulls like a toy gun. But its fun and was a real challenge & accomplishment to build.

For me, any AR is worth trading a shotgun for. But that’s just my .02.

I’m assuming it’s either the Sport or Sport II, both of which are solid rifles.

The m&ps are solid guns. I’d take the trade personally
