$30,000 + vehicle $80.00 Block Lift makes sense I guess. You will hear the saying a lot around here " Buy Once Cry Once. " you'll see the meaning eventually good luck in your travels.

You may want to install springs under your seat as well. Its gonna be bumpy.

    Exactly...

:facepalm:It will not change the ride in the least... I love reading posts like this cause it reminds me that opinions on these types of forums need to be taken with a grain of salt. Most of the time the person commenting (like in the case above) has no idea what they are talking about.

That said I wouldn't go super cheap on suspension parts (even spacer lifts) cause the materials they use and the tolerances on said items will likely be low quality as well. Pay a few extra bucks and at least get some good quality blocks and spacers. I won't ever cheap out on Wheels/tires, Brakes or brake parts, suspension or suspension parts or any other component that could have safety implications... If you want to buy cheap LEDs or Cheap seat covers that's a different story :)

If you notice a vibration after lifting, put the truck in 4 wheel and see if the vibe goes away. If it does, it's the needle bearing.

This. Never understood why people spend big money for a nice truck, then drop 100 bucks for a lift. Eh, too each their own.

They do it because there’s no reason to spend money on a complete replacement suspension lift if all you care about is the looks of the lifted truck.

Most people won’t notice the minor difference.

I would at least buy a cheap toytec lift so you have a name that's reputable. Spacer and AAL, rides the same as my OME lift I have now.

I have Bilstiens 5100’s 3rd gen, Readylift 2”.....rides the same as before with just the Bilstiens, no lift. My 2017 TRD OR spends 90% of time on pavement...then some sand, beach, trips out west to Big Bend National Park and some ranch land, mud. I lifted mostly because of wanting to level it, and if/when high water in suburbia...TRD Proseur....

I think it's perfectly fine, you will be ok with the lift. The blocks are not going to hurt the ride. I hope you enjoy your lift, and feel good about it. I was going with the low range 3/1 kit but changed at the last minute to the 5100s. Enjoy, it's your truck and your decision.
