Actually they do especially in the Eastern Sierras near the Merced and Kings river gorges all the time . Also they especially mess with campers ,cars and trucks in the Death Valley area near the famous Star Wars canyon / Jedi loop

This particular area of Death Valley is a training area for fighter aircraft and if you're on Hwy 178 /190 or hwy 395 they will lock onto your car , truck or motorhome even a motorcycle . They will come out of nowhere lock onto you and simulate an attack . I've had this happen to me many times in Death Valley

About 25 yrs ago friends and I were heading up hwy 178 in my friends motorhome . My friend who's driving is telling us we're being chased by a F/ A- 18 . We look in the mirrors and back window and see this fighter heading right towards us no more than a couple hundred feet off the deck . He got within a 1/4 mile from us then made an evasive maneuver

Later that weekend about 0600hrs our campsite got buzzed by another F/A-18 . Again no more than a few hundred feet off the deck doing at least 450 knots

Voted, it is my civic duty. This is why my father fought in WW ll, so I would be able to have the right to do so. I miss him.

 

I remember him telling me, you get your ass there and vote, even if it is for Mickey Mouse. He never got to see me vote, but I have never missed an Election Day since I was eighteen. Mickey has done pretty good over the years.
