Crawl box won't help on the street. Based on my investigation into both incidents of rear breakage, it definitely seems to be on road driving that has caused this.

You have seen him wheel, so I get where you would think he did it off road.
I do recommend going for a ride with him doing WOT runs for data logging

They do not, but Jantz engineering can add a load bolt or sell you a kit to do it your self....

And just for reference dana 60's only have 9.75" ring gear

Yes stock breather is garbage. If it was a two way as long as the breather was above water your fine. Because the stock one is one way the second the axle seals touch your boned because of pressure differentials due to temperature. Stupid idea for any 4x4 in my opinion. First vehicle I’ve ever owned that wasn’t atleast a rubber hose up to the frame

I just checked out that build. Its not a cummins 4bt, its actually a toyota 15b (4.1L diesel 4cyl) and its on an older toyota (84-95 range) 1-ton chassis. So not quite the same as a true 1-ton truck but still really cool.

Hmm... I wonder if a closed system with some sort of expansion/contraction bladder would work. That way there's no open air infiltration at all.

Conceptually, it seems like a great idea to me. I wonder why it's not a mod that is more popular. Time to nerd up and research!

There’s a lot of cool things to do with mashing two trucks together. It just takes a lot of time and a lot more money
