i purchased a 2016 Tacoma Sport used/certified,after several months I noticed I had a headlight out. I purchased a new bulb and installed,I still had no low beam. I checked fuses with a tester and I am totally baffled.
I cannot get a straight answer from dealer or Toyota customer service weather or not this would be covered under Certified Warranty.
If any one has had this issue I’d appreciate any feed back

Maybe swap bulbs from the other side so you can determine if it doesn't work with a known working bulb. Also make sure you didn't accidentally change your high beam bulb.

Trace the wires back as far as you can.

If the fuses are good, are you getting power at the plug itself when you flip the lights on?

You need to check voltage on both sides of the fuse. If good, then check at connector.

    Good ground ?
Do you have a meter ?

Most electrical issues I have seen when not the fuse are a bad ground.

I’m an electrical engineer, but I’d take it back and tell them to explain and repair the issue. Any potential damage you do trying to troubleshoot the problem gives them a built-in excuse to not cover it.

Maybe we need the thevenin equivalent here. Norton would work also.
