Get ready for a rough ride, sir. If something so trivial as a legal disclaimer for a tune is giving you a hard time, I don't even want to think about the other loops you get caught in.

The design is commonly refered to as a "headifold." The cast exhaust manifold that bolts to the block, makes this style of engine well suited for turbo installation. Ford uses this type of head with their Ecoboost 2L, 2.3L and 2.7L engines. I've seen a variant of the 2.3 (focus RS) push over 700hp (highly modified of course). There is definitely potential for power.

Please see my previous post regarding this. There is literally nothing bare metal hardware is doing differently than a VM regarding this tune. You still get a unique system ID, USB interface, etc. I think the "unsupportedness" of virtualization is more of a desire for reduced complexity when dealing with trouble tickets. If you're use to virtualization, it's virtually (pun intended) the same thing as using hardware, only a heck of a lot cheaper and more manageable.

Oh I know. I run windows almost exclusively inside a vm. I think the biggest thing is using a solid product like fusion instead of something like virtual box.

I flashed the TSB from a windows 7 vm. I’ve done all OVT from windows 10 boot camp.

From a supportability Id want some consistency and simplicity. There’s already enough variables with windows without adding additional layers and complexity for people that aren’t tech savvy.

Oh yes! If you're going to go VM, don't skimp and use VBox. You will likely regret it. With Mac, Fusion is the only way to go there. Also, totally agree on the tech savvy thought.

You'd have to be more specific than "didn't work". I'm wiling to bet people with bare hardware have said the same thing in this 1500 page thread. If you try again and need some help, hit me up. I'll get you hooked up.

Let’s put it this way. It wouldn’t even load the software and I had a principle level developer helping

Tried bootcamp and it was a no brainer

I use vm’s daily, never had an issue. I think the reason Mat doesn’t want people to use it, is because it adds complexity to already somewhat complicated setup

I have trust issues with my Taco's transmission. I am hard of hearing and I can't tell what gear I'm on. What setting or device is out there for people to see what gear they are in while in "D"?

    inb4 > get a MT > shift to "S: mode

You mean PEBKAC (Problem Exist Between Keyboard and Chair)?
