I remember Chinese companies selling these type of things on EBay and all the did was power a light inside the device. People were dumb enough to buy them and think they actually did something.

You don't understand what voiding the warranty means. I believe that there's very little you can do that will "Void your warranty." If you put 14" lift and 44" tires on your truck and your cd player craps, you warranty will mostly likely still cover your cd player. If you plug this thing in to you OBDII, which is a computer..... and use it to modify your computer.... and your computer fries (Bricks)... AND Toyota can figure out you plugged this little thing in to it... Your computer will likely not be covered. But if a wheel bearing breaks, this little thing in your OBDII shouldn't matter.

O.k. Like I said, I hope I was wrong. I remember at one time someone made a red for diesel and yellow for gas. It could have been a completely different company.
    Continue on.

Not installed yet. I kinda rushed into buying, unfortunately, but will not attempt to install it until doing the homework. Otherwise, will ship back and get the pedal commander, bc there was plenty of testing done on that

    With all due respect...

Good luck fighting Toyota or this "company" on this, they'll likely not cover shit.

If this box gives you all that.. 45% more hp...40% tq.. these guys with turbos and OV tunes wouldve went this route.. or Toyota wouldve sold a TRD OBD II chip for $1000... doesnt make sense and wouldn't be worth the risk to me.. is there a hole in it? I mean for $70.. there might as well be some way to get some pleasure outta this thing..

The smart thing to do here is to wait until engine warranty expires anyway. So will return the chip.
Will get the pedal commander instead sometime nxt yr.
Meanwhile, will do some more studying on turboing Toyotas NA engines.
    Thx all

On the off chance this adds 45% hp and 40% torque, subbed for aftermath of conn-rod through block.

Otherwise just here to watch people talk about the benefits of snake oil.

You spent $8 thousand on this sucker? I only hope if you plugged it in it is only a placebo.
