Red Dead Redemption 2

I checked out the Indigenous People Reservation thinking that there would be some sort of cool side mission there. Instead they all peacefully just told me I don't belong there.

 

I killed some with a cutlass. I bet you could punch then too. That's how I kill frogs. I just punch or kick them.

 

For the third time in this game, i spent at least half an hour last night at camp drinking, singing songs, and listening to stories from the NPCs. I almost got up and went to bed several times but I'm glad I didn't. You get some interesting interactions with your gang by sticking around and joining in on the parties. Take your time and let the interactions develop. It's worth it for the laughs and getting immersed in the story.

I went around to every town yesterday but could not find a place to vote.

 

Since it takes place in 1899, I don't believe that was an election year. The 1900 Presidential Campaign was probably heating up between William McKinley and William Jennings Bryan, however.

 

Poor William Jennings Bryan, 0-3 in presidential elections.

I got the white buffalo last night. I shot him and he ran into the lake and took about 2 minutes to find a place to climb out. I read that sometimes he sinks and you can't get to the corpse so I waiting until he got out and blasted him again. Found the white Arabian again and this time was able to throw a saddle on him.

Was the game offline for anyone else last night? I couldn't play for a couple hours and had to watch election coverage instead.

 

I play offline so I don't see why it wouldn't have worked. I don't want any updates until after I beat the game.

 

My kid bought a physical copy and was playing, while my buddy and I who bought through Xbox store both had service outages.

 

That make sense then if Live was down.
