    Interesting, was gonna buy a new water inlet for the Z because the zinc coating was coming off the stamped steel thermostat housing. Apparently way back in the early 80s an Aussie parts company said, the hell with that we'll make one that matches the rest of the cooling system.

    So now instead of a stock parts that looks like this...

    I got this nice cast aluminum housing that will hopefully not corrode like the steel part...

    Really? Well that's pretty cool, their website (which doesn't function right in Chrome) seemed to suggest they don't support many USDM vehicles, but I saw a lot of Holden haha. Always cool to find another US company, and a part made in Japan is good in my book. Wonder why I haven't seen parts from them for other things before

    Probably because you're like 14. :rofl:Back in the day, every good parts store (napa, carquest, federated, etc.) carried this brand. They were huge in the water pump business until other's decided to start producing in China, and then came the corporate jungle wars of the '80s and '90s. Member1Zillion remembers! :cheers:
