    Greetings All!

I've owned my 2018 TRDORDC since 09/2018 and love it. I'm having fun reading this forum and modding my truck for my needs and asethetic preferences.....with that said I read alot of threads on this forum of various issues and complaints. Coming from the VW community (I still have my 91 GLI) I discovered people are quicker to complain then to compliment. How does everyone else feel about their truck, I love mine. No issues so far, my transmission feels to be "learning" my driving habits and the shifting has vastly improved since new.

    Thanks.

Love my truck. Zero complaints. Sure there are a couple things I wish it had, like cooled seats, but I knew it didn't when I bought it. Can't really complain about that.

So far, I love mine. It's very early, but I'm enjoying it much more than I thought I would. I haven't owned a truck since '02 and have been in performance sedans since then. The truck is a welcome change for convenience in respect to home ownership and travel in CO.

Really happy with my truck, just turned 3k on it and gas mileage has actually improved a bit from brand new. Few minor annoyances that I'll address at the 5k service, but nothing worthy of ranting about on here like the dude going crazy over Pandora being taken off Etune.

I’ll be honest, I don’t like my truck.

I enjoy the things I do in the truck, the people I’ve met through the truck, and the community in general, but if I could return the truck I would.

I’m glad you are having a positive experience with yours and I hope you continue to enjoy it to it’s fullest.

There have been recent polls here an the last one it was about 90% like their trucks with several hundred people responding. What you see here is a very vocal minority.

I like my truck. I know it's not perfect, but no truck is. I knew what I was getting when i bought it, so I have no complaints.

1st - Mine is constantly getting dirty. I’ve had to wash it like 20 times in 2000 miles. I’ve contacted the dealership and Toyota corporate. No one seems to care. I’ll bet if I got a Ford I wouldn’t be dealing with this crap.

2nd - as soon as I fill up the tank and begin driving, the fuel gauge slowly goes from full to empty over the course of 4-5 days. Once again, Toyota doesn’t care. I’m blaming their engineers for this.

    Loving my Tacoma dclb trdor
Sold a gen 1 Tundra and a 89 1 ton utility body. This is my 7th Toyota truck, driving 600,000-700,000 miles with very few issues.
I have no doubt this truck will get me 200,000 fun miles

Trans is a little funny and it’s got too much electronics for me, but it is what it.
    God Bless

This is the world we live in now. Everyone has a voice that can be heard, and you can’t please everyone. Unfortunately the complaining is the loudest.
Personally in 35 years of two and four wheeled vehicles I’ve never had one that was perfect to my liking.....life isn’t perfect. If it’s livable and I can make some tweaks to it, I’m happy!

I just turned 8K on mine, it needs a few tweaks. Overall I’m happy and can see owning this one as long as the last one.
    Fifteen years and 240k.

It’s a tool, I’m not looking for it to provide my happiness.

Had mine for a few weeks and love it. Came from an 03 Montero sport. Everything with this truck is an upgrade. Things that others here nitpick don't bother me one bit. Entune is awesome, the notchy manual tranny doesnt bother me, avg 16.5 fine with me, and the "floaty" off road suspension feels luxurious to me . If my other car had been more modern maybe my opinion would be different but I'm very happy with the truck as is.

Just over 1,000 miles on my OR DCLB and am pretty happy with it. I do find the transmission likes to hang on to a high revving gear after I crest a hill and level out, it might take a full minute to drop into a lower gear on level ground.
