I’d say it will end up in the courts, now if the NRA or GOA will be doing anything about it? Probably not

400+ acres with four houses and a barn in the middle with a bar, walk in fridge, and full butcher setup. Land full of deer, elk, and moose. Oh and a river to fish.

I want land in northern Idaho or in the center near Pierce. Flowing water for fishing and hydroelectric, at least 40 acres next to public land. Nice big backstop for a long shooting range and a decent amount of southward facing hills for solar

NWSAFE in Encumclaw. Its where my dad and I have both got our personal ones plus another one.

Remember no sales tax on safes so make sure they dont try to sneak it in! Even if you dont buy from them the people at NW Safe are a great resource to talk about features and crap.

I really get sick of the LEO and prior MIL carve outs in bills. Ive met plenty of MIL guys I wouldnt trust with a BB gun. More though...Laws should apply to everyone. No special carve outs. Im talking broadly at all bills/laws. LEO/MIL/Congress/Senate all should have the same laws as everyone else

As for the courts....it will be in the courts in the next couple days. The NRA and SAF have already taken it to court a few times. First was over the title which they won.The second was on how the petitions did not meet the rules for petitions (wording and such of petitions). Was ruled in favor at the district level and the overturned by the WA supreme court. The WA Supreme Court side-stepped the case basically. The ruled and overturned it and basically said the courts did not have the authority to rule on it.

There will be multiple lawsuits against it ranging from if it was even legal to have this as a initiative to the constitutionality of it.

Hopefully thats not getting to political for TW Oo

I agree. Out of the 200ish people I've served with while on my boat, I could completely trust about 20. Those are the ones who shoot regularly/responsibly.

    About 10 I wouldn't trust with a BB gun.

And the rest are trustworthy but lack basic knowledge and firearms skills.

Sooo...I'm about 80% on selling my Tacoma. I love the truck but I just don't think it's ideal for what I am using it for (full time mini RV) - it's too small and I'm way over payload limits.

Looking at used F150 or F250 regular cab with the 8 foot bed and a used FWC. Thought about diesel, but I just don't think the MPG are worth the added cost with the increased price of diesel so looking at gas engines.

Anyone have experience with either, or thoughts? I drive about 40,000+ miles a year so unfortunately MPG is a serious consideration. I get about 16-17 highway with my Tacoma right now which I think is a minor miracle considering all of the shit on it.

Plan right now is to try and sell it as a package with the camper, but I doubt that will happen. Next step is pull skids, sliders, winch, lights, air compressor, etc. off of it to try and reduce the price as much as possible for a sale. Bumpers will stay with truck unfortunately because I had to cut body panels, and I no longer have the stock parts.

With that many miles per year, diesel is BY FAR the way to go. A gas engine is going to be quite tired by 120,000 miles (3 years in), while the diesel is just starting to hit the sweet spot.

Thanks! I love all of Jon’s stuff - he’s actually selling his Tacoma for very similar reasons to me.

My concern with the diesel Ford is the increased cost and that I can’t use Mexican diesel among others

    Not much, yet.
So dipshit question over here. I have a four year old so my daily is stored in a biometric pistol safe mounted to my bedside. It'll take about five minutes for someone with power tools to open. And pretty easy to walk away with. If it's stolen, basically it's my word against there's on whether or not it's locked up and if I'm charged. Is that correct?

Increase cost with what? Yes diesel is slightly more expensive and so are parts, but the increase in fuel economy and the longer service life of diesels make it similarly, if not more cost effective in the long run.

Chevy, Ford and Ram all have different pros and cons. I’m a huge fan of the Cummins engines in the Ram trucks, they’re the only manufacturer to have a solid modern diesel. Fords have great drivetrain and body and Chevys have the best transmission and creature comforts. If i were to buy a new truck tomorrow it’s be a hard decision between a new Ford or Ram. I’d probably lean towards Ram because of the Cummins and possibility of AEV goodies

You get what, 20% better MPG with diesel? But then diesel costs about 20% more so it seems like a wash for me. Maybe I’m missing something.

I’d love an AEV’d out Ram but they (Ram) seem to hold their value a lot better than Ford and I want to get out of a car payment. Ideally I’d buy a 5-10 year old model for cheap now and save money/decide how long I want to keep being homeless.

I’d have to sit down and go over our fuel logs but, 20% is conservative. Diesels are built
to have a longer service life, as well as tow. beefier parts=less chance of a failure
