X2, If the manual system is ready then

 

Working on testing this week, if all goes good, we’ll create an install guide with pictures and roll it out. Plug n play minus two wires: TPMS like the HKEY guys, and the Clutch Cancel.

Goal is to TRY to be ready for Black Friday. If we miss the mark due to unforeseen testing (I will not rush this to market until I’m 110% confident, quality and satisfaction over profit-always) then what I’ll do is offer the MT kit to the manual guys at the “Black Friday” price as a promo for 5 days when I am ready to roll it out.

I am also testing that the smart module will also work with it the way it does with the automatic HKEYs so I can offer this add on as it’s a HOT item and I ordered a lot, but it’s still a limited quantity based on the post flash sale interest I’ve gotten the past few weeks from those who missed out on the first run.

Best way I tell all is to subscribe and when I post it’ll be a regular post with info to bump it and so a notification shows up for you, but if you want to check for info or updates AFTER that, you can look at the first post on the first page as that’s where I do the update edits so people don’t have to dig through pages on pages to find what I said. Only editing posts doesn’t give you a notification, that’s why I do it like that. Thanks for the interest! You are appreciated as well and will be taken care of just as those that have my stuff on thier Tacomas have been so far.

I’m doing it once more for four days and not again (sale price that is) for a while because I need to eat too haha..so subscribe to this thread and the sale will be Thanksgiving weekend. Four days only, Nov 22 - 25 and while supplies last. Then you’ll be set with nothing more to really do than sync the smart to it. I preprogram my units to be future proof because I know it will be a matter of time when you’re looking to take it to the next level if you didn’t do it all at once because that’s what happened to me, and many who have bought from me only the remote starter.

 

2019 PTS and HKEY will be available when restocked.

 

A heads up for those with the remote start app. There is a nationwide intermittent outage that is affecting the majority of users using the MyCar and CL6 app. If your app is acting buggy, slow or non responsive, it’s not you, your install, hardware. It can be a combination of bad reception coupled with the technical difficulties being experienced on the servers or ATT towers. This has rarely ever happened, but is also nothing to worry about. This has to do with the servers on the manufacturer’s ends and or ATT. It happens as infrequent as your internet at home would go down. So rare. It will be resolved shortly so don’t try messing with your install if you had it working fine already. It’s not you or your devices. Once resolved, I’ll notify all here. The worse thing noticeable about it is a little bit of a signal delay going to your vehicle and feedback status coming back, otherwise still operable.

 

Pleased to announce that we have just successfully finished testing the 3X remote start on an Manual Tacoma!

Our next steps are:

- To successfully sync the smart unit and test the app functions.

- To source the small hardware required to interface to make your install easy and for less of a need to visit a hardware (i.e. for connectors, spade terminals and relay).

- To create an easy to follow install guide with color pictures.

At the end of the day, aside from the TPMS that our HKEY Automatic Transmission buddies already have to cut, there is only one other wire required to cut and we’ll document everything real well for anyone to follow. You’ll just need a crimper tool to put the provided connectors on from your vehicle side. We’ll crimp them on our plug ‘n’ play harnesses for you! You also have key override like the HKEY automatic fellas do which means that you too can open your door, get into the vehicle, stick the key and turn it into the on position and then tap the brake pedal once so that now your key is in control. You can then drive off without the engine ever turning off!

Talk about Plug ‘n’ Play! N2 Designs, INC, came through for our MT brothers that weren’t getting any love from the remote start industry! If all goes good, we’ll be able to roll it out at the same time as the automatic PTS and HKEY kits. Stay tuned and feel free to repost and share the exciting news through TW!

 

Alot of info, so real quick: hkey, have to cut the wire for tpms? does it no longer work after that? no more tire on your dash screen?
