I went with the Total Chaos bed stiffeners. Noticed it squared up the passenger side. The extra tie down points come in handy.

Just noticed very uneven gaps in my tailgate. Been running my bedrack for months....looks like i should invest in some stiffeners. The passenger side gap is quite small

that looks unfortunate, I doubt bed stiffeners will help you there. But wouldn't that be neat.

Been thinking about stiffeners - just put a fairly heavy topper on (Snap Treehouse popup camper) so there’s maybe 350# sitting on the rails 24/7.

I see Total Chaos, Raised Cali, and At The Helm mentioned - any others out there? What would really sell me on a particular brand would be if there were tie-down holes strategically placed so I could bolt an angle iron between them, and it would be the same height as a 2x8 across the wheel well notches for carrying sheet goods.

My CaliRaised ones were pretty cheap and come pre drilled with several holes that you could bolt angle iron to.

Looking at @Dirty Harry 's post here:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/caliraised-bed-stiffners.544575/

Lining up the openings in the molle panel with the holes in the Cali Raised stiffeners, it looks like one set is just below the top of the fenders? That would lead me to believe that some angle could be bolted up at the height that you need?

We'd love to set you up with TOTAL CHAOS Bed Stiffeners. Our middle tie-down location is a little bit under the wheel well notches. Here is a pic:

Depending on the angle iron you might be able to get everything level. Please reach out if you have any questions!

I got AtTheHelm ones because I can still use the stock D ring and have the extra mounting points on the stiffeners as well. Plus they have a bottle opener!

I really like my Total Chaos bed stiffeners, very well made, beautiful welds. My 2gen had them until it got totaled. First thing I bought for the new 3rd gen. I have a heavy Snugtop on there and like the piece mind. 81B76EF5-5DC7-4A87-9D7B-B2AA802C0BA0.jpg
