Depends what practical uses you’re refering to. It’s practical as fuck for wheeling and camping. Easy access spare tire and that fold down aluminum table is so useful for cooking.

I had a swingout on my 2013. I don't think I'll be getting another one unless it's easily removable. Unless I buy a trailer of some sort then it won't really matter.

Hit a few trails at the local ORV park that have gotten worse to use and the elements. I was able to clear them with ease with my HC bumper. I couldn't imagine the damage with a stock bumper.

It's an older Bruteforce with a single swingout.

Which lights? Mobtowns are cut for the S2 flush mount lights.

I need to drive back to MD at some point to get a few of my things I couldn't fit in the moving truck, might be a good time if I plan it when the bumper's ready! I'll probably spring for the powder coat this time, rattle canned my rear bumper and sliders last time and it's faded so fast.

    list is growing fast
Was thinking about this.... I really do use the bed a lot and have things stick out the back with the tailgate down.

A possible solution would be to go high clearance without the swingout, and add a wilco hitchgate which could be removed when needing to haul long loads.

I haul my kayaks in the bed pretty frequently. Would probably end up removing the spare tire carrier (looks like one bolt) unless I'm going on a trip or wheeling.
