:mad:So far, I've been doing stuff to my truck outside or inside the garage, but leaving the garage door open.
Since last night was 22degF around here, with lower 40s for a high for all next wk, I wanted to close the garage door and WTF??? My truck barely fits, I mean I can close the door, but gotta squeeze in front of the truck to be able to go around it. Considering will have an Aries brush guard installed on day, there will be no way will be able to close the garage door with the truck inside:oops:
Who the *blip* is designing these houses??:annoyed:

They’re probably using the same garage design they have been using for the last 30 years. It’s probably more the vehicles becoming larger that’s also a contributing factor.

Your midsize today is a full size 15 years ago

Do you have a 4 door or 2 door truck also? Most garages are meant for 2 door vehicles also.

I made sure to measure before purchasing, tested fit on a DBCB Sport on a test drive, and after delivery, we drove/parked the actual truck in our garage before signing.

I don't park in my garage (garages are for work, not storing cars), but if I removed my storage shelf, I could fit in mine with my snow plow on (about 20 feet long) and still be able to get around it. My garage was built in 1965 and yields 23.5 feet lengthwise with the door closed.

Garages are getting smaller to give houses more square footage.
    Its frustrating.

I just recently bought a home and it was very difficult to find a home built in the last 10 years that would comfortably fit my truck.

SO wanted a newer home but the house was a no go for me if I didn’t have a garage that would fit my truck plus 3’.

We had to go with a slightly older home.
But A-OK with me. I have a large enough garage space for a shop to do home improvements

Park in your garage and walk around behind your truck and THEN close the garage door? :notsure:
