Just being a moron after a 16 hour shift on stock tires. I'm ordering wheels and tires today, I'm not sure they would have saved me though .

Happens. Several of us have been there, done that. Mine happened on level ground; truck was resting on skids and differential. I was in 4Lo; able to get out and walk around, lol!

I got stuck in wet grass one time. Had my crappy old blazer on street tires, pulled off at a 90 degree angle to the road in a farm field access driveway, went to back out and couldnt. 4wd, still nothing. went down into the field (seen my dad do it plenty of times in his 2wd ranger) and maybe get a running start. nope, nothing. Had to call a buddy to come pull me out.

Did someone post a pic of this truck yesterday or the day before? This one also has a RTT that looks like it’s too long for the rack. Had a BF Goodrich sticker on the front fender. And a weird license plate that I’m not sure as to what it is

Is it Friday yet? Kid was turning right out of a parking lot and into traffic. The right lane had stopped and someone let him out but he decided to cross the right lane and into the left lane which was moving normally and he never saw me. Direct hit to my rear passenger side wheel and spun me around sideways pretty good. Hoping my frame isn’t torqued.

So I’m picking up my sliders from eddy on Saturday. I wanna get them put on asap. What’s everybody spraying these things with? Line-x? Rattle can? Bed liner?

I may try the spray on bed liner. But I know it doesn’t stick without a lot of prep. I have access to an automotive spray gun and air, would some black tractor paint or something similar out of a spray gun work better?

I don't know if mine were powder coated originally or not they were @HrBrad8 old ones. but they are getting touched up with rattle cans. I am a fan of rattle can on my armor just for ease of touching up. But Line-x is extremely tough and holds up to a ton of abuse. I have seen the bumper that was on Brad's truck and the very minor IMO chipping or pealing of the line-x. Now that was after some hard use and hard hits.
