I remember July 2015. I remember it like it was yesterday...

I was doing a hot 60mph down the freeway in my 2rad '97 Jeep Cherokee. Windows down, confidence up. Aint nothing gonna stop me now.

I was on my home... cruizin' down the freeway with the music bumpin' on my 2siq tite way 2rad Jeep sound system. And then it happened....

My rear driveshaft fell off.

There I was...one minute jammin to Blink 182 and checking out my boss sideburns in my dope rear view, when all the sudden my POS Jeep, fuck Chrysler rear driveshaft fell off right there on highway 89.

At this point, I figure I have 5 options: buy some Indian jewelry, or fuck your mom. I can't afford either of those, so I turn to the internet.

After many hours on youtube, it came down to buying a new Tacoma, or buying something else. Yeah brah, its a fuqin mess. But watch these 2 gnarly vids and figure out for yourself what life you want.

Thank you, I was hoping someone would mention this.

Less than a year to the 50th anniversary of that event.

I so clearly remember watching that with my whole family.

I remember watching many live feeds of rocket launches, re- entries.... Walter Cronkite was the go to guy in my house.

Really major accomplishments, and we all benefited from the technology imo.

Imo, one of the greatest tv shows on at the time. Couldn't wait for it to come on.

 

Didn't watch the trial but remember the riots well. My cousin had just got hired on the LAPD and damn near had to go out into them.

At the time of 9/11 I worked about 15 minutes from Logan Airport in Boston. I was on the phone with a customer about a bill for her husband and was fixing it when I heard him screaming in the background..I thought it was about the bill until the wife told me what was going on.

A friend of mine's brother in law was almost on one of the planes, last minute changed it to fly out of RI instead. Another friend was going to Mexico and saw people getting on one of the planes.

 

I remember when John Lennon was shot.
