I actually picked up a Legendary Map in game but can't remember where I got it. It's pretty accurate.

 

Is it the map Hosea gives you when he takes you hunting for the bear in the beginning?

 

Oh, maybe. I didn't even look at it at the time. I just remember checking my satchel and finding it in there.

 

anybody else come across the Murfree Brood? just camping by a pond I was fishing at and that crap happened.

 

I got this issue when I was trying for the legendary buck (which I recommend you getting and crafting the trinket).
What I did was go to the buck area, got the message, went to a strawberry and took a stagecoach to St Denis, leave the city, camp till the next day, do a manual save, take another stagecoach back to strawberry and then go to the buck. If you get the message again, just reload your manual save from outside St Denis and try again. I had to do this twice.

well don't spoil anything, but is it mission related or do I need to go explorin'?

that's the only thing I'm torn on with this game. love/hate relationship lol. idk what to pursue as far as explorin' because I don't want to mess up a mission but I also don't want to miss stuff by not explorin'...

 

I just explore all the time. Just do whatever you damn well please! I do manual saves every so often though in the event I fuck something up I can go back and re do it or choose a different route.

 

No spoiling at all, but just keep playing. Ill just say you literally won't/can't miss it

 

oh I explore a crap ton, but the missions are fun too. like I was in Saint Denis way before the game wanted me to be and it was funny hearing them say "there's this big city.." like yeah...I know about it lol

 

Same here, I actually have save spots at the beginning of each chapter just to be safe.

That’s all I’m going to say

 

I'm hoping for enough time tonight to finish up chapter 5. I heard from a co-worker it gets even more intense. I'm really digging the story compared to RD 1. I'm also not a fan of John this go around compared to Aurther.

 

I figure after I play through RDR2 I'm going to play RDR (hopefully a remastered version??) because I forget so much of that story, other than the large things.
