Thanks ALL... @Texoma has been great and is going to help me out. I'm willing to take the drive to support a fellow TW member... grabbed the bump stops from wheelers and purchased the moogs.. probably end up getting end links and various few other things just because...

Sorry for going all bat shit crazy... however i was already frustrated from the ordeal had the wife blah blah blahing in my ear about cost... and some of the remarks from various members... WOW...

Here's the problem. The alignment hardware has an electro coating on it that Toyota thought would be sufficient to keep them from rusting. Not the case, the coating isn't thick enough and there's no lubrication so the metal on metal rust welds itself together.

    Exactly.

I wish there was a "sticky" informing new Tacoma purchasers to have those bolts antisiezed before the truck leaves the dealership.

More like should be a TSB or recall from Toyota to grease em up.

It's a no win situation for toyota. If they grease them at the factory then they could back off and loosen up. If they dont grease them they freeze.

The army of lawyers that work for toyota corporate have decided that not greasing them is best from a liability standpoint

I didn't say factory. If I buy a new Tacoma, the dealer tech lube them before I leave the dealership.

Not sure if that much thought went into it. The area where they freeze to the bushing sleeve has no threads so greasing that or better yet using zerks on the bolts would definitely help and not cause them to loosen up

How hard would it be just to spray them with penetrating fluid once a yr. Would that help?

Maybe a little, it is pretty big bushing, I don't see the majority getting much penitrating lube.

It would wash out too easily. You need something thick that is wash out resistant.
