Is it just me, or does it seem like more and more people drive with their high beams on regularly now? Bugs the shit outta me.

    I've been wondering too.

I think the issue is the auto-high beams. The ones on the taco don't turn off until you are like 20 feet away from the oncoming car, I can't use them because I know it's shitty to the other people. Lots of cars have these now.

I also think, that everyone has higher cars now, and not all cars are aimed right from the dealer, so put that together and you get more and more at eye level. When it's right at your eye, it doesn't really matter high or low in my experience with taller trucks going past me.

I had an Audi SUV, which also has LED head lights, flashing their highs at me when I was driving the Corolla.

Yeah people definitely are putting different bulbs in than stock more often now, but, yanno how you can see the second high been bulb on typically? I've been noticing that a lot more.

Driving to work for overnight I come across at least 5 people who just don’t bother to shut off their high beams until reminded.
New corollas are some of the worst offenders with beam pattern or cutoff or just cheap projectors.
I had to shut off the auto highs because it seems like they don’t turn off til it’s already blinding oncoming traffic and would errantly shut them off with reflections from signs.

The beam cutoff is really high on the new Corollas. There is a very clear line you can see while driving. It was a little strange driving at night with them at first. The new Prius is even worse. I think it is 4 separate projected LEDs on those now.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
Do it! My kid yells at me when I tell him about my old e30
I have noticed this (and even mentioned it in here before). Around me it's definitely the people not the cars. I know this because it's a lot of older cars like 90's something Corollas or Chrysler Sebrings that just put their high beams on and leave them on, even if you flash your lights at them!!!

Yup, I see (check that - I really can't see after being blinded) that a lot here. Also the aftermarket LEDs on Jeeps are blinding.

Sometimes I use the yellow tinted lenses I swap into my sunglasses if I'm driving alot at night...it takes some getting used to but it helps.

Big weekend! We are hosting a comedy show tonight that was sold out (first time we've sold out an event) have lots of college buddies and old friends coming up for a 30th annual (and probably final) family veterans day celebration. People start showing up by 10 am to help prep for it, and we've had a crew of 6 family friends up the last two weekends getting other stuff ready. I'll post some pics of how we celebrate on Sunday after the party...I think you guys might like it  . Got some trees to limb up and some other work this morning to finish getting ready for that, which happens tomorrow. Oh, and gotta go grab the speed fuse and connectors out of the mailbox this morning, excited to finally have some stuff that burns faster than 15 seconds a foot.:bananadead:

Looking forward to having a fun weekend and not working a 12 hour Saturday for the first time since March, AND I have no meetings Sunday either. :bananadance::bananadance::bananadance:
