Tacoma Bed Extender, Ohio (3rd gen, maybe 2nd gen)

I have this stock bed extender that came with my truck as an add on. I dont use it nearly enough, and trying to get rid of it. It is in perfect condition, and essentially good as new. It can stay flipped in the bed, and you can close the tailgate, but when you open it out, it allows you to put stuff in to the length of the tailgate. It is $300 MSRP, and willing to cut that price in half! Only asking $150, with local meet up/pickup. I am in Oxford, OH (Western Ohio), but I am home in Northern VA for summer starting May 16th.

Will it work on a 2nd gen ?

 

Guys, even if you don't think you will use it that much, it is nice to have when you do need it. Only takes a few seconds to remove it or to re-install it. I altered (narrowed) mine to be able to keep using it after I installed my bed stiffeners.

 

Its definitely useful, and when youre not using it and need to take it off, you flip it out at a certain angle and pull it out. It takes 10 seconds max.

 

I believe it would work on a 2nd gen, but I am not totally sure. Ill do some research

 

I don't think it fits a 2nd gen, sorry! Thats what some feeds on TW seem to say. You may be able to purchase different brackets for it, but that might be impossible since its a OEM Toyota product.

I would like to buy this as long as all the mounting hardware is available. And if we can meet either this weekend or Thanksgiving weekend when you are home from OH. I live near Ocean City, MD but will be in Baltimore this Saturday, the 17th. We could meet in Annapolis on my way home in late afternoon say around 4:30 PM Alternatively I could meet you on the East side of the Bay Bridge in the Kent Island area sometime over the Thanksgiving weekend. Thatd work for me, except I am not coming home until Monday the 19th most likely. I'd be willing to meet you then, but I'd still like to see if I can sell it up here before I head home. Would that work for you? I have a place in rehoboth, so I am familiar with the area, but probably not willing to drive much further than the Bay Bridge. Let me know!
