IMO it is a bit more stiff while
Driving around corners and what not, you will notice a very small reduction in body roll. However, the ability to absorb bumps did not change from stock, or at least I can’t notice it if it did. Keep in mind that raising the front 1” means that the coil will only be compressed like .5” more than stock..it’s not a 1:1 ratio...that’s not going to do much to the ride.

Just curious about the lean spacer.... stock my truck was perfectly level....is there something about the bilstiens that cause the lean? at one time i thought i had lean on a perfectly level garage floor only to find out that pulling the parking brake before exiting the vehicle showed a false lean.....not using the parking brake it was perfectly level. these were with stock shocks. Just a weird observance.

You might be one of the few without the taco lean. Pretty much all of them are a 1/4 lower on the driver's side. Try Google it will explain it more and better than me. It's a thin spacer kinda like a hockey puck that sits on top of the strut.

I believe it is due to the gas tank on the drivers side and the weight mainly of the gas in the 21 gallon tank.

I think that's what some say but I don't see 21 gallons of gas causing it to lean a 1/4 inch up front and I doubt seriously the battery is the cause but what do I know.

Yes sir 5100’s all around with a 1” block in the rear. I only rub when it’s flexed and at about 75% wheel turn.

Nice! Did you have to replace the needle bearing?

I did not and that’s why I went with 1” because the CV angles are pretty much the same as they were stock so I figured I’d be altering the truck by a very minuscule amount to where I didn’t need to worry about potential issues.

Old thread. What did you end up going with in the rear to get that 1 inch lift? I just installed Bilstein 6112/5160 combo with the 6112s set at the 4 and 3 setting for the 1 inch front lift. Nothing in the rear except the 5160s. While my fronts are completely leveled, driver to passenger, the front is a little bit higher than the stock rear end by about 1/2 and inch (bro lean). What I was trying to accomplish was lifting just the front to level out with the stock rear. I do not intend to lift the truck any higher at the moment, would just like it to sit even. My options right now to lift the rear minimally are 1 inch blocks (unfavorable) or a single 1.5 AAL.

NVM. Just went out and measured, looks like the fronts have settle a little bit after about 100 miles. It still have a slight bro lean but it's less than 1/4 inch.
