The only thing I would have done to that machine is remove the owners marks and put it to work.

I think it needed a new gun, but yeah. The welder at my last job was disgusting, but worked fine.

I didn't even know restoring welders was a thing. I mean people use welders to restore things but restore the welder? :p

It seems like every used welder needs a new gun

I've done a mod or two
I could see it if it was old and like a piece of your shop's history or something but yeah the average run of the mill Miller, I still don't get it. As long as it works it's good.

If anything, spray a coat of bright orange or yellow on it to provide better ID if its stolen. Thats what most rig welders around here due to their equipment. Nothing fancy though.

Hey, I don't tell you how to do your job!

Memeing is both science and art, I went to college for Christ's sake. Let's see you whip up a spicy Barto meme!

    Hmm, lets do the math......

So he converts his truck to 4x4, something that he says himself he doesn't need. Took a year before he really used the 4x4....

Bought a welder that he restored, how long will it be before he uses it? Defintely not gonna use it for the first time to weld his bumper up.

I'm not the type to make fun of people but I can't resist sometimes (ok many times). :p

If he brought it here and paid for the materials I'd turn it into a bumper
