    I have been to Hidden Falls twice but never to camp.

    I know some people leave vehicles at the entrance. Do they allow a vehicle to be left overnight?
    (may have a friend meet for camping but they don't have a vehicle that can off-road at all)

    EDIT: Also, I plan to get out there Saturday morning and camp Saturday night. Do I need to pay in advance?

    A ca can make it to the main camp area. Im not sure where but I'm sure a car could be left somewhere. A car might be able to make it to areas 52 that we are camping at. No need to prepay unless your trying to get a cabin.

    I guess my thing is I don't want to pay for another vehicle if all they are doing is camping/riding.

    You will have to pay for a passenger thats riding and camping. Camping is the same cost, passenger costs less than a driver.

    I have had passengers before. But what I am trying to avoid is paying for a second vehicle.

    If the vehicle is 4x4, they make you pay just cause people take advantage of the system. If it’s a 2wd or car/whatever, they’ll let you drive to camp without paying the wheeling fee for it.

    If you don’t want to do that, you can leave it in front. It’s after the gates to the entrance but don’t go past the main office

    I only know that cause I took my tundra once just to hangout and they explained since it’s 4wd, they can’t let it into the park without paying the wheeling cost since they have had people say they weren’t gonna wheel and end up on the trails.

    :bananadance::bananadance:

    Same here!

    Will be the last wheeling trip for me for a while more than likely, until at least Mega Run in March or Jambo. Taking on a Ambassadorship with Texas State Parks that goes from December - June so will prob doing a lot more camping though.

    And I am glad that people will know HF, as I have never been before!

    I've been once it's easy to get somewhat lost so many intersections of just regular dirtroads. @ryanbitt had to send me his coordinates for us to get back to pull Navi out.

    Good to know, but then again I still can get lost at Barnwell sometimes somehow.
