My gas light comes ON at about 277 miles (285/70-17 w/ maybe 3” lift, tonneau cover). Maybe this is another reason to buy the new handheld OVtune.

To @OVTune Matt, is the learning disabled completely in your tune?

Where is the download link for the software that uses the dongle. I would like to try the tune for 93.

There is no formal tune for 93 octane unless you are one of a select few manual trans owners.
Nothing formal has been released for everyone else (AT/MT with older ECU versions / dongleless) beyond 1.04/1.04r - neither of which were released for 93, only 91 (but 93 works fine, you'll just get a little more power when 1.05 drops with a 93 optimized version).

With the prior tune versions you could choose to load the 87 or the 91 tune.

Earlier this week there was quite a blowup regarding the sharing of files among users of this forum. If you've lost your older files due to getting a new computer it may be best to request them from Mat directly.

Maybe try gently reminding him that he removed Post#1 for editing earlier this week.

So is there a link for us dongle users cause the page of resources on the website only has information for dongles users.

Sooo, in the last couple of months and more often recently, I've been experiencing the off-idle stumble when mashing the accelerator. For the folks who have had the TSB done by Toyota, did you flash back to stock first? I haven't had the problem until recently, and I've been running 1.04 basically since it was released.

I've mostly been waiting for 1.05, and yes, there are only 22 days left in the month, but I hate the stumble, and my transmission has been moaning/groaning as well. I'm wondering if it would be worthwhile to flash back to stock, and then to 1.04 again.

Anyone care to weigh in on that idea?

Wow, so slogging through the last 20+ pages was.....fun. I'm a 1.04 (91) user here. I haven't looked at this thread for quite a few months and see that 1.05 is about to come out soon. After researching this thread as much as I could stand it, it seems that I should be able to go from 1.04 directly to 1.05 and that I do NOT need the TSB, correct? If so, does getting the TSB anyway before upgrading to 1.05 make any difference whatsoever? Or will it all be the same once going to 1.05?

Sweet, thanks for the reply. I'd rather not have the stealership touch my truck if I can help it. ;)

Once you get the tsb you can’t go back to 1.04. You would need to email Mat to get 1.04r. Most here would rather he not be bothered to help facilitate a faster release for 1.05

Also he had previously stated if you need the tsb go and get it. If you don’t need than don’t get it. Either way you can get 1.05 once it’s released

Disconnect your negative battery cable for a few minutes. Then wait for 1.05.
