Why would you even consider putting your truck in the garage, everyone knows the garage is for storing worthless junk you will never use or the useful stuff is buried under the useless junk until you are left cussing and stubbing your toes looking for it! Valuable things like trucks belong outside, under a huge tree, that died 3yrs ago.

    Thankfully, mine also just fits!

Winters are fucking cold here. Oh, and summers too are fucking hot here.

My house in Tucson was built in 1955 and has a 24 foot long garage. I could fit my 4 door F250 in it.

I can even squeeze my Moto in overnight sometimes if the weather’s good. Otherwise it’s in the shop. Capitalizing on shelving and minimizing empty wall space was required, but it all fits.

Tell that to my condo association that forces people to park in their garages and if you can't you have to get a waiver to park on the street from the security company that patrols the grounds.

When I bought my Tacoma, I was driving down from Lompoc, CA. and I was in LA and it hit me like a ton of bricks, "Oh shit, what if I can't park in my garage?" luckily i was able to. If I had gotten the F150, no way.

I could totally fit my truck, my wife’s Forester, 2 fun cars, and a project car in there. Oh, and a Triumph Street Triple.

Hmmm.. getting rid of the junk! That sounds like an easily doable task
My "junk" is parts from my old Disco!
Anyone interested in an cat back exhaust system for an '03 Discovery?? :p Plus a whole box of other new stuff:facepalm:
And parts for the Tacoma arriving daily almost... or so it seems like (according to wife:D)

I think part of your problem is that things aren't stacked high enough. Have you considered a second story addition?

Exactly why I ended up with a DCSB instead of a DCLB.

My garage is 20'×22'. The LB would certainly fit. But I've got shelves and whatnot and wanted to be able to have some breathing room

I like to think that it's a garage for a very small helicopter.

I can barely squeeze my double cab short bed in my garage. It doesn't live there, but when hail is a possibility I will park it there to protect it.

Nothing better than going out to the garage when its cold and snowy outside getting into a warm Tacoma. If you can park inside and you have crappy weather why not park inside? Unless you have dirt bikes and atvs and fun stuff stored in there!
It seems like designers are thinking everyone drives small cars, new homes having small garages and the spaces at the mall, so tight, how can you crawl there !

Short bed / long bed used to be 6 & 8 feet, yes? So a dclb would be the same length, and have the same bed length, as the 2000 model full sizes?
