Wow! Thank you. It's a done deal all the way. My sister is picking me up.
I like how there are people in this online community that are willing to do something like that!
    I'm the same way!

The times I've done that, I am usually fairly upset with the results and end up back in manual. And i am by no means great at it, probably not even good compared to most... but the camera is always on manual. My phones auto is pretty good though and manual is a bit more clunky and slow.

Firearms must be locked with a lock that only the owner has a key to. It's an exception to the TSA lock rule. At least the last time I flew with a firearm, I believe it's still true.

Ok, I confess, I have a wicked cold right now and the Nyquil 'may' have affected my original short reply, so here's a more thought out response to explain what I meant... Although my camera has pretty good auto mode, chances are if I was out shooting I would already have my manual settings pretty close to what I needed to capture whatever ran past. I use full manual or aperture priority mode 98% of the time, but I tend to put it back on auto each time I bag the camera for the day so that in the event something really cool happens out of the blue the next day or whenever, I can grab the camera and shoot it without missing the moment.

Heck yeahhhh I’ll check it out!

This is my 92 CB750 nighthawk I just got a tail hoop and new seat over the summer. Unfortunately crashed into a guardrail last Thursday after almost losing it on an oil slick. She’s alright though. Minor stuff and I’m okay haha.

Alright, @uhplifted @medic2230 @Cal671, here is my submission for this week. I did my research on how to set up a DSLR to take a Blue Hour photo, so I feel like I got the spirit of the challenge down if not the letter.

The wife was in town when I got home, so I went out with my GoPro and my Nikon CoolPix. The GoPro was dead, and I didn't like the "Night Landscape" option on the Coolpix. So, I set my phone, on the "Pro" option, to what I thought I remembered the blog said to set things at. Nope. Those got deleted. Then I fiddled around some more and got this one. I have more than this one, but I thought this one looked the best.

Sorry I don't have a cityscape photo, or light show, or streaks of cars going by.

Thanks! I honestly feel like I was a little late in getting out there. I think like 5 minutes earlier would have turned out better.

@My_Name_is_Rahl x2 on more sky. Your picture looks to be about 50/50 land/sky. Rule of thumb is you almsot never want to do that. Rule of thirds

I am super limited on the property with how much sky I can capture. Most the property is hillside and I went as high up as possible without having MORE trees in the way.

I never thought to crop it. I kinda thought the black tree silhouettes were a good contrast. :notsure:

No tripod for my cellphone. I have one for the GoPro, that I also put the Coolpix on. If I hadn't laid down, the photo would have been all trees.
