Super lube is food safe, so that's something

Or maybe whoever received already had a couple spokes blown out and they didn’t need it

Speaking of wasting money on things you don't need. These showed up today.
Hopefully I'll never need them but if they come in handy for when I go to Pismo with my buddy & don't crack the first time I'll be happy.

Only got em cause they were only $50. Sold as used on Amazon but with the luck I usually have with Amazon Warehouse deals, brand new, just damaged box. And the damaged box part was just some missing tape.

All @Sperrunner fault! I'll bring them along if we end up doing the TW Pismo trip.

Nice, good to know thanks! Green wouldn't have been my first choice but that was the only color they had available for "used". But green is my favorite color, just not for everything. I don't mind these in green though. :D

Have your's cracked at all? Some of the reviews say their's cracked but I'll probably only use these in the sand.

parental checkbook still... give him a bit more time

Be sure to let them off-gas outside for a day or two before stowing somewhere. Damn cheap chemical laden plastic has an overpowering odor if left in the truck or cap - even in their bag. I ended up returning them.

I always like to give smelly plastics either a Dawn bath or some ispropyl alcohol. Get all the parting compund off and it usually clears up

Mine hasn’t cracked, just that I had let someone use them and they wheel spin and burn one of the spikes off.

What do you guys use to hold the bikes down? I've only found threads for 2nd and 3rd gens. I was thinking about getting a trailer hitch rack but I wanna keep it in the shell.

I used to have a 2x4 that I had bolted fork mounts to, ended up being pretty stable
