It is the car he normally carpools in. He drove separately today or he would have been in the passenger seat

His friend was the only person in the car and he didn't make it.

I just dropped in to let everybody know i’m still here. I stayed with Paul speaking to him and trying to keep him calm and be positive until they made me leave so they could try to cut him out. I stayed as close as I could and tried to yell encourageing things until I could tell there was no more need. I stayed through the investigation. I stayed until they finally got him out of the car. I stayed until he was loaded by the coroner. I gave the police everything I could and cussed the battalion chief up one side and down the other. I had no idea what else I could do so I tried to make the driver of the truck feel better. It deffinately didnt look like his fault but he has to live with it. Paul was a bit quirky but a great guy, good mechanic, diehard Republican, veteran, and proud American
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers it means alot to me. This is another drastic and tragic eyeopener to how short and precious life is. Hug a loved one and tomorrow shake somebody’s hand.
My wife giggled one time and said “your so funny tou always kiss me and tell me you love me before you leave” she thought it silly until I explained i never know if I will make it home or not and I wanted that to be the last thing she heard from me. Goodnight all but thankyou again for your thoughts and support

I have not. Looking at the options for contact there is telmate.com/gettingout.com. You create an account, deposit fees, and somehow there is contact via phone. Even at the jail itself there is video contact ONLY and that is still via an account created on telmate.com/gettingout.com

I thought I could just cruise on down there, say "Hi, anything you need?"

I'll be out and about tomorrow, will get to the detention facility, he's still there with a $300k bond. Probably won't be able to speak with him, snail mail is probably the best bet.

Odd situation, house is in his name only, the family he took in has moved out of the 24' trailer he provided for them along with their big dog. He had a Chihuahua and a Yorkie.

My first try was with creamy peanut butter. Second was with munster cheese.
Third time chunky peanut butter. Chunky did the job.

It works. I've done it with just a bucket of water. I got a squirrel one time. Hot tip: check it often and remove rodents as soon as possible. I've seen the dowel trick but never used it but it works.
