Yes I completely agree and will vouch first hand that I don't think it gave me anymore than just a single exit would but I did it more so because it honestly sounds pretty decent, also when you are passing someone wide open 2nd and time it so you bounce limiter right at their window it has to be pretty bad ass lol anybody ever heard the limiter with duals?

That's actually the same guy I seen on YouTube. One video he drops a gear and hits the limiter and it sounds like something wild, so since Toyota made it so easy to split it at the y pipe I did just that bought two 23inch glass packs and dumped it out by the rear passenger sidestep. (wishing I would've done 28 now that they are broke in. I put them out the back with 90s out each side a couple hrs ago and it got a little louder outside the truck for sure but the tone broke up much better and got deeper so I think I'm just gonna leave it till it rots off. Also in the video it is just straight pipe where I cut the ypipe it was more so to show the 3 round burst of a red line

@OVTune I was wondering if you might share your findings on the effects of exhaust on these trucks based off of the logs that @St.Germain and I sent compared to trucks with stock exhaust? We are both running the URD y pipe with the secondary cat delete.

Haha I know I cringed when I took that video.. I'm on 35s too so that don't help much and it was full blown stock tune relearn so the throttle was wonky I promise thats not how I drive haha
Haha I cringed every shift believe me it was the truck, I had the batt disconnected when I whacked the exhaust off then just let it idle while cleaning up for a few minutes and that video was taken at the bottom of my driveway so it was all sorts of wonky. Stock tune throttle response was fucked for 100 miles every time I reset then it would start to get bearable I'll say. I've had a 89 22re single cab, 2 first gens 2.7 single cab and 3.4 ext, 2 second gens 2.7 single and a 4.0 dcsb TRD OR, then my 17 dcsb TRD OR all manual Trans and by A LONGSHOT the 05 TRD OR was right on the money with the throttle I miss it.. bone stock no pedal commander. But it had no Trac or any sort of stability control just abs. I feel as though the Trac and stability control really bone ya this 17 and my 2010 with the 2.7 were/are laggy as can be especially after reconnecting the battery, it drives me nuts. I always have abs fuse no.2 pulled no matter what so they aren't functional but the throttle is/was still rediculously hesitant. But that could also be due to the brake override that they didn't have in my 05 it didnt care what pdeal you prested first it dI'd its job. Anybody know if the brake override was on 05s with traction control?

I've tested them, and then designed my own, and we are coming out with a new version of it.

The URD pipe diameter is too small

i am 100% set on a custom tune when the time comes. i probably just finished my exhaust the other day, so whenever Mat is accepting logs for custom tunes, i'm there. my exhaust flows beautifully.

    my current exhaust:
    URD mk2 Y pipe
    rear cat delete
re-route and removal of crush pipe
Vibrant Ultra Quiet open style resonator, 3"
    Spintech 3000XL muffler
    2.25" J pipe

i gotta get a recording of this thing. kinda crazy.

1.05 91MA tune makes this light come on pretty often on my pig of a Tacoma.

I like 91MA as well. It's too bad that FO doesn't do as well in the midrange on my truck, 'cause I really liked the low end and throttle response on that file :notsure:

The 55mph 2nd to 3rd shifts with the light flashing makes Red happy.

I chirped the tires for the first time today lol 1.05 91oct FO. The road I take when leaving school has a bit of a hill at the first stoplight I hit. MF in the car behind me was right on my ass while i waited for the green so I had to give the pedal some hell really quick when it was time to go and was rewarded with looking like I'm that asshole who tries to race at every stoplight lmao

But did you redline it, wait for "three quick bursts" from the rev limiter, and slip the clutch like hell into 2nd for another round of rev limiter action?

    @Trident904
You ever get anyone to do the TSB?
I believe I am 04B11 same as you and have been working with the dealer right down from my work.
Tried both 0058-18 and 0125-18, neither will show a calibration update on my ecu.
I know the Parts Manager(been in honda parts for 15 years) and one of the master techs pretty well.
The tech said he tried to override and update anyway but wouldn't work.........Wondering if you had any luck...

Guess I'll just wait out 04B11 anyway......
